Robotic sortation provider Tompkins Robotics recently announced the release of PickPallet, an automated system designed to enhance the efficiency of picking items and moving pallets within warehouses.

As the second offering in the PickPal product line, PickPallet follows the introduction of the first generation at the ProMat Conference in March 2023

Tony Villanova, Vice President at Tompkins Robotics, emphasized its significance for warehouse operations and order fulfillment. “We're thrilled to launch PickPallet as the newest member in our autonomous mobile robot family, a game-changer for warehouse operations and order fulfillment,” he said. “This addition epitomizes our dedication to bringing more innovation to the market and marks a significant leap forward to help solve a number of challenges operators and businesses face every day.”

PickPallet enables businesses to improve their intelligent order organization and space management by ensuring pallets are moved accurately and without damage. Its advanced navigation enhances warehouse safety by detecting obstacles and avoiding collisions. These features aim to increase efficiency and free up workers to focus on more valuable parts of the picking process.

“We continually hear that customers need to do more with less, keep workers focused on high-value tasks, and drive operational efficiency in all areas of their business,” added Mike Futch, Tompkins Robotics President and CEO. “PickPallet, and the entire PickPal product line, is a great example of delivering innovation to solve these challenges.”

The PickPallet will debut at MODEX 2024. Visit Tompkins Robotics at Booth B7843 to see it in action.
