tSort3D greatly expands the capabilities of the tSort solution. By positioning a 3D crane alongside the tSort robotic sorter, one sort destination is transformed into dozens of destinations. Carts alongside each crane can hold up to 48 order totes.

tSort3D can be integrated into tSort designs, allowing systems to deliver to up to 10,000 sortation destinations from any point of induction in a much smaller footprint. The system is modular and scalable in its ability to ramp up sort destinations and volume by adding assets. A system can vary between doing ecommerce, store replenishment, returns or shipping in a given day by reconfiguring the sort plan and function as needed.

Our unique design requires no permits, no fire protection and no hard wired electrical which all leads to greater flexibility, cost savings, and faster deployment. tSort3D is a revolutionary advancement in sortation technology compared to traditional sorters, robotic put walls, and other technologies on the market. No other system can sort to over 10,000 order destinations in a single system from a single large batch pick process. The product range is broader as well, sorting round, cylindrical, odd shaped, larger and heavier items existing systems on the market cannot process.

Three key product features:

  1. Increased Throughput: tSort3D can be integrated into tSort solutions, allowing Tompkins Robotics to sort to up to 10,000 order destinations from any point of induction. Each tSort3D unit can hold 24 to 48 destinations consisting of totes or direct to order cartons. Orders can be removed individually or as an entire cart of 12 to 24 orders. tSort3D provides from 4X – 25X more order sort destinations compared to other solutions.
  2. Flexibility: tSort3D robots are highly flexible and adaptable. They can handle a wide range of items and package sizes without the need for custom configurations, whereas put walls may require more customization to accommodate different product types. The system processes a far broader range of goods than competing products including round, cylindrical, larger and heavier goods.
  3. Space and Operating Efficiency: tSort3D robots operate in a three-dimensional space, utilizing vertical stacking and compact layouts. This can make more efficient use of warehouse space compared to traditional put walls and other high density, automated sort systems, which often require more floor space. Operationally, tSort3D allows for a far larger upstream batch pick saving labor. The ability to move whole carts to packing allows greater productivity for order clearing.
