Tompkins Robotics Company Profile

Tompkins Robotics Induction Lift allows operators to ergonomically induct to multi-level sortation systems. This creates operational conditions that are comfortable for longer periods and reduce on the job injuries.

Tompkins Robotics Induction Lift allows operators to ergonomically induct to multi-level sortation systems. This creates operational conditions that are comfortable for longer periods and reduce on the job injuries.

The Induction Lift provides a better worker experience, reduces on-the-job injuries, and delivers maximum efficiency in a small footprint. Designed with ergonomic and safety features built in, the workstations allow employees increased comfort and protection while performing the induction process.

These features include light curtains and shielding to avoid machine movement while an operator is interacting with the machine and customizable load height for operator optimal work comfort, These capabilities increase employee retention, reduce injuries and time missed from work, and provide significant return-on-investment (ROI).

ROI is further recognized with the ability for multiple level induction from a single station, eliminating the pre-sort of goods saving on conveyance, enabling larger bigger batch picking, and maximizing existing vertical space. The Induction Lift can go up to 5 levels high meaning adding levels doesn’t require a system to take up more space.

Three key product features:

  • Reduces workforce risks – Minimizes repetitive physical movement, reduces injuries associated with lifting & stretching, manages risk with high-rise operations and eliminates the need for operator platforms .
  • Safety- State-of-the-art safety features are built into the design. Light curtains and sensors detect an operator’s hands and stop moving parts and robots, keeping employees safe .
  • Ergonomics- Induction Lift allows employees to modify the height of loading according to each operator, providing a more comfortable work environment and enhancing worker productivity.
