The GMTS is permanently fixed on the dock approach and once the trailer is docked and secured, with the push of a button inside the building, the twin arms of the device rise to support the trailer’s nose from either side, stabilizing trailers and preventing collapse. One more push of a button and the GMTS returns to its stored position to allow for trailer departure.
