- For apparel induction, different parts of the induction cycle are parallelized to maximize speed: picking-and-placing onto scan table, barcode scanning, and placing onto sorter. An accelerator mounted above the sorter is used for precisely placing polybagged apparel items onto empty sorter slots, maximizing induction speed and accuracy.
- For singulating parcels, two robots work side-by-side to pick flats and mixed parcels from bulk chutes and place them onto conveyors. An innovative buffering system ensures one robot is not waiting for the other for any part of the induction cycle, ensuring a high induction rate.
