New Dawn (Booth B4615) is showcasing the Horizon warehouse execution system (WES) software, which helps eliminate “islands of automation” often found in facilities.

Horizon WES allows companies to rapidly deploy best-of-breed automation regardless of the manufacturer for specific applications and requirements without worrying about systems not communicating and executing properly.

“With organizations moving quickly to utilize today’s automated solutions to improve their labor, space and throughput KPIs,” said Tim Krisher, VP of sales, “the OEMs of these automated software systems often leave functionality, communications and performance gaps that are for the end user to resolve with their IT groups, or by bringing in Horizon WES.”

Horizon’s automation module uses its flexible Java programming and Web-based user interface to seamlessly integrate all forms of automation within existing legacy systems. With hundreds of parameters integrated into software that can be configured to customer’s specific requirements, New Dawn saves users costly and time-consuming code changes.
