Modex 2012: Rotacaster makes manual movement of loads safer, faster and easier

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a live demonstration speaks volumes. Rotacaster Wheel (Booth 3520) welcomed attendees today to a hands-on demonstration as it introduced its new, self-supporting hand truck: the Rotatruck.

Designed with a multi-directional wheel known as the Rotacaster, the four-wheel hand truck rotates easily in small spaces and can actually move loads sideways. According to Peter McKinnon, managing director for Rotacaster, this innovative design can overcome issues associated with trying to move and handle materials.

Also available in an outdoor, all-terrain model, it reduces the effort of manual handling and repetitive movement that can lead to workplace injury. A conversion kit is available for operations that want to retrofit traditional hand trucks.
