The RightHand Robotics SCS is a new optional module for the industry-leading RightPick 3 system that enables it to swiftly swap the gripper’s suction cup type to pick a wider variety of common warehouse products from pharma, health and beauty, apparel, and more.
The system leverages the combination of the gripper’s compliant fingers and RightPick AI software intelligence with a variety of pre-tested suction cups to offer stable, secure, and damage-free grasping throughout the full pick-and-place process.
The SCS holds multiple suction cups to optimize the handling of small, mid-sized, big, and bagged items. It’s also user-friendly with automated calibration features and data tracking to monitor picking performance by SKU and cup type. With the SCS, the RightPick 3 system reliably picks a higher percentage of inventory items, which are typically stored in AS/RS and other goods-to-robot (GTR) systems. This means warehouse operators can expect roughly 1.5x as many orders to be 100% robot pickable, simplifying material flow and improving operational flexibility toward “lights out” order fulfillment.
