The PowerStop is a non-impact, self-aligning truck restraining system. These restraints are available as either an automatic hydraulic activation or mechanical operation. Both units help prevent unexpected trailer departure from the loading dock during the loading/unloading process.
The Powerstop Automatic and Manual - with Automatic Lights (MAL), come equipped with a RIG sensor bar that notifies dock workers if the restraint’s arm is not securely engaged with the trailer’s Rear Impact Guard. After this warning is presented, the Automatic series will auto-store our of harms way.
An optional light communication package can be added to the Manual – with Manual Lights (MML) and MAL, which can also be upgraded to iDock Controls with an interactive message display. The light communication package and iDock Controls are standard with the MAL.
In addition to the added safety that the PowerStop offers, this unit can also be connected to myQ Dock Management. With myQ, supervisors can monitor truck restraint use and become notified if a restraint is in bypass mode.
