Mountable at heights up to 13 feet to prevent tampering, the device has been enhanced with pollution tolerance modes to ensure safe machine operation, even in dirty and dusty applications.

The scanners can report status and measurement data over EtherNet/IP. This keeps machines running by enabling users to check the operating state and analyze the cause of an emergency stop to take quick corrective action.

Configuration features include a tool that enables users to make only non-safety related programming changes, and a function that permits modification of the shape and size of a zone by importing coordinates from a text file.
