Fairbanks Scales: FB2550 Advanced Scale

Updates to the FB2550 Advanced Scale Instrument’s software enable operators to access the full-service menu on the instrument’s Web interface when connected to a laptop or tablet.

This simplifies configuration, calibration and maintenance—particularly in applications with purged enclosures or hard-to-access installation mounting.

The software updates also provide the ability to select and clear all incomplete transactions; enhance the e-mail error notification system that alerts users if a faulty load cell is detected; enable printing of load cell diagnostics reports; modification of existing tare weights; allow more flexible use of the traffic light in summing mode and a faster response from traffic lights when networked.

The terminal itself sports a full-color touchscreen, large text and numeric keys, as well as simple-to-understand prompts to facilitate and speed operation.
