Colson Caster Corp. Company Profile

Heavy duty wheels roll easily, protect floors

Heavy duty wheels roll easily, protect floors Engineered for durable performance, the Commander HD line of heavy duty wheels withstands abusive applications and environments where high-load requirements and impact resistance are needed. The wheel is machined from Nylatron high impact polymer—not injection molded—for better resilience. The polymer blend resists moisture and most chemicals, making it suitable for corrosive environments. For easier rolling and enhanced floor protection, the wheel features a slightly crowned tread profile that rolls easily and provides better floor protection than steel, iron or phenolic wheels. Applications include die carts, engine hoists and ground support equipment. Offered in a 2-inch tread width in 4-, 5-, 6- and 8-inch diameters, and in a 3-inch tread width in 8- and 10-inch diameters, capacities range from 2,000 to 7,200 pounds per wheel.
