The Women in Manufacturing Association (WiM) announces that its fourth annual Moms in MFG virtual conference will take place on June 13, 2024. Moms in MFG is both an annual event and a sustained community to support mothers and caregivers working in manufacturing.

“The strength of women and caregivers in manufacturing isn't just measured by the products they produce; it's also in the communities we build and the future generations we inspire,” said WiM President Allison Grealis.  “The Moms in MFG Conference is more than an event; it is a community deigned to support women year-round as they tackle integrating their personal and professional lives. By uniting working moms, caregivers and their allies, we're not just shaping the future of manufacturing—we're redefining it, ensuring that those who nurture our families also thrive in their workplaces.”

With presenting sponsor KPMG, the 2024 Moms in MFG virtual conference allows participants to join from anywhere and fit the program into their already busy schedules. This year’s event includes a number of sessions that promise key insights that can be applied immediately to help mothers and caregivers in the workforce succeed and thrive.

Sessions include presentations on the importance of supporting caregiving employees and the impact it can have on the industry, empowering mothers through pregnancy and beyond, and burnout preparedness for working moms and caregivers; a panel discussion on having it all; and several breakout sessions on topics including workplace ERGs, work/life balance, and mental health and wellness. View the full agenda and list of speakers on the Moms in MFG event webpage.

Registration is now open for the conference. Discounts are available for companies interested in holding “viewing parties” to allow a large number of their employees for whom the content would be relevant to participate.

In addition to presenting sponsor KPMG, the Moms in MFG conference also is supported by Cummins, RHI Magnesita, AFL, PepsiCo and Southwire.
