Storopack, a manufacturer and marketer of protective packaging solutions in North America, has relocated its Canadian Brampton plant and distribution center to a facility in Oakville/Mississauga, Ontario, west of Toronto.

The move positions Storopack close to all of metro Toronto, Southwest Ontario and New York state, and is intended to enable faster deliveries, service and support.

Storopack’s previous location in Brampton had served the company’s growing customer base as the main Canadian distribution center for the past 12 years. The new 15,000-square-foot facility is a state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution center which will serve as a key distribution location in Canada for Storopack’s equipment-based protective packaging solutions, including loose fill, AIRplus, PAPERplus, and FOAMplus products and solutions.

“This strategic move strengthens and leverages Storopack Canada’s core product portfolio and service offering,” said Tim Groves, vice president of Storopack Canada, responsible for the Canadian business unit of Storopack in North America. “Quick and easy access to our many current and new customers in the Greater Toronto Area, Brampton, Mississauga, South Western Ontario and New York State is critical to our delivering the best possible service to our customers and to our long-term growth plan.”

“This upgraded facility ideally positions Storopack to more effectively address the changing needs of our growing business in Canada over the mid- to long-term,” said Daniel Wachter, president of Storopack North America. “It will help us better meet our distributors’ and customers’ needs for continuously increased productivity of their protective packaging processes – at higher levels of service quality.”
