By automatically using vacuum generators, the Z.ZAG Palletizer is able to pick up one case at a time and then place it on a pallet from above.
Due to its suction capacity, the palletizer can currently lift more than 40-pound boxes at speeds up to 360 boxes per hour.
Every position of each case is calculated automatically, according to its respective dimensions and desired patterns.
As a result, the palletizer can start filling the next pallet as soon it replaces the previous one, which it is able to locate (one case at a time).
In addition to its suction capacity and automatic case calculations, the Z.ZAG Palletizer also offers a compact product that has been designed according to SCARA standards.
EndFlex’s new Z.ZAG Palletizer automatically uses vacuum generators to pick up cases one at a time and place them on a pallet from above. Its suction capacity is capable of lifting 40-pound boxes at speeds up to 360 boxes per hour.
The position of each case is calculated automatically according to the desired pattern and the dimensions of the case; the Z.ZAG palletizer locates all cases on one pallet and upon completion will start filling the next pallet as the first pallet is replaced. Placing this end of line application at the end of each production line is less costly than using conveyors to transport cases to an expensive high-speed palletizer.
Designed to SCARA Standards in a compact footprint, the Z.ZAG is created for multiple pack patterns for both column-stacked and interlocked configurations. Servo-driven with PLC controls and a color touch screen make setting up and operating the palletizer extremely user-friendly.
