xDIM uses 3D camera technology on a rugged tablet for intuitive point-and-capture dimensioning, producing accurate measurements in seconds. The software generates a 3D image of the box by capturing eight billion points per second. Data transfers directly to its intelligent cloud-based analytics dashboard, xDIM Insight. Reliable data is then put to work, significantly improving slotting, re-racking, and Ti-Hi pallet configuration processes and preventing wasted space. They require transport of boxes to and from a bulky and cumbersome dimensioning system—often running outdated software with less intuitive user interfaces. With xDIM, users capture measurements with a simple point-and-click of a tablet, wherever the box is located.
• Precise DIM weight calculator and NTEP Certification. The software measures and calculates a package’s dimensional, or DIM weight, in seconds. xDIM is an NTEP Certified Legal for Trade solution, enabling businesses to charge by volumetric weight instead of standard weight, improving accuracy. Precise dimensional weight calculation derived from accurate measurements results in fewer chargebacks and a reduction in labor and overhead costs.
• Speed to capture dimensions. Rather than transporting a box to a dimensioner or taking manual measurements, workers can simply capture dimensions by intuitively pointing a tablet at a box.
