The Wave pallet stretch wrapping machine by Wulftec / M.J. Maillis reduces film changeover time by incorporating four complete, no-thread, powered pre-stretch film carriages.
Working alternatively, the carriages provide continuous film reloading to ensure that the system is always ready to wrap. Features include a sophisticated indexing mechanism that automatically switches from one carriage to another, ensuring continuous wrap cycles without downtime, and a human-safe film loading zone that eliminates operator exposure to moving parts while the machine is running.
Because the film loading zone is outside the wrapping zone—and is equipped with its own safety devices—it does not interfere with the wrapping process. The machine also accommodates programming of wrap patterns with different roll sizes, thicknesses, pre-stretch levels, colors, logos and more.
