The SkySorter overhead handling system is based on modular, energy-efficient construction. The system can be used for accumulation, sorting and order picking, as well as product transport in restricted spaces. Gravity-powered with only a few drive units, it features smooth-running trolleys that run on slight gradients along stable, aluminum suspension rails—one drive powers each 262- foot section. Installations can include grippers, check weighing and labelers. Each hanger has an individual, custom-configured pick-up adapter that handles loads up to 66 pounds.
