Geared conveyor motors feature integrated drive The Sinamics G110M distributed, motor-integrated drive is offered for use with the supplier’s Simogear geared motors. Featuring compact construction for space savings and simple installation, the system can be delivered completely preconfigured, making it ideal for conveyor applications. As an integrated drive system, the two work together to produce high power density, refined torque levels and high efficiency. The new drive is rated up to IP66 ingress protection for versatile use. Other highlights include pluggable connections for all inputs/outputs; reduced cabling by looping through the 400 VAC, 24 VDC and communication signals; simple, comprehensive diagnostic features; quick stop and limit switch function; and integrated braking resistor. The motor-integrated drive comes with integral USS/Modbus RTU, Profibus, and Profinet/EtherNet/IP communication profiles.
