Crown Equipment Company Profile

Counterbalanced forklifts can navigate tight spaces.

Counterbalanced forklifts can navigate tight spaces.

Highly flexible, the RC 5700 series of counterbalanced forklifts enables users to conduct a variety of projects, from replenishment and retrieval tasks, to product transportation across warehouses, to trailer unloading at docks.

Developed to navigate tight spaces, including drive-in racks, narrow aisles and trailers, the forklifts have low-profile cowl and sculpted power units, masts and overhead guard designs, which leverage operators’ side-stance positions, offering enhanced visibility in any direction. Able to handle extreme temperatures, including cold storage environments, the forklifts feature Access 123 Control Systems, e-Gen Braking, FlexRide Suspensions and Intrinsic Stability Systems.

Created with operator comfort in mind, the forklifts allow operators to handle each task with ease, due to their flexibility, intuitive controls, maneuverability and updated software.

Company Product Description

Crown’s proactive Intrinsic Stability System proactively addresses the potential causes of lift truck instability, enabling operators to perform tasks with confidence.

  • Hydraulic, travel, cornering and ramp speeds are all monitored and controlled as a system to help avoid unsafe operation.
  • A tilt interlock limits tilt at higher lift levels that could result in tip-overs.
  • A stability-enhancing counterweight exceeds ANSI standard requirements to further boost operator confidence.

The Power of Uptime
With long-lasting components and a dependable support network, the RC Series provides long-lasting value and a low cost of ownership.

  • eGEN Braking replaces traditional friction brakes, providing a consistent brake feel for the operator and eliminating brake wear; protected by a comprehensive 2-year warranty.
  • Crown-built AC drive motors are specifically engineered for lift truck applications, delivering greater torque and reliability.
  • Access 1 2 3 Comprehensive System Control integrates real-time information from traction, braking, steering, hydraulics and more for increased performance.
