Wulftec / M. J. Maillis Company Profile

Retrofit film feeding system maximizes prestretch to reduce waste

Retrofit film feeding system maximizes prestretch to reduce waste The FAST--Force Anticipation Stretch Technology--film feeding system accurately delivers film to the pallet without reacting to demand, controlling film failure, film ripping and breakage. The system eliminates excessive stress on the film to maximize its top performance and use of film. By using all the force in the film, film consumption can be reduced by up to 35% while achieving the same containment. Retrofittable to current stretch wrapping systems, field testing of 47 gauge film with punctures achieved 250% prestretch with a 35 rotations per minute without breaks. Wulftec / M.J.
