Savant Automation Company Profile

Tape and target-free AGVs are low profile

A family of low-profile automatic guided vehicles and carts with capacities from 2,000 to 10,000 pounds follow a graphically configured, maintenance-free, virtual path. This eliminates the use of floor tape, line-of-sight dependent reflective targets or saw cut floors for path navigation. The units drive under carts to automatically transport them to new locations. Alternately, they can be equipped with powered roller or lift decks, or tow strings of carts. Integrated control technology allows users to optionally make their own changes to path, system operation and control. To accommodate business growth or operational and process changes, systems can be expanded in phases with unlimited path and vehicle additions. Savant Automation, 616-791-8540, agvsystems.com
