Lewco: Conveyor System with retractable, heavy-duty pallet stop inside of a pop-up chain transfer

A new conveyor system features a retractable, heavy-duty pallet stop inside of a pop-up chain transfer to ensure that the pallet is correctly located over the transfer chains.

This provides a method for right-angle, directional changes from within chain-driven live roller conveyors.

To operate, a pneumatic lift device that projects a series of chain strands rises up through the gap between the chain rollers, driving the load offline. Capable of handling loads up to 4,000 pounds, the conveyor itself incorporates integral, pneumatic, actuated pop-up chain transfer, allowing pallets and containers to be routed in a different direction.
