Yale Lift Truck Technologies Company Profile

Pre-define operational parameters for very narrow lift trucks

To control very narrow aisle truck speed, the A-WARE location-based performance control solution uses RFID tags to enforce travel speed, acceleration and lift restrictions. Working through RFID tags deployed in warehouse storage aisles that are read by a truck-mounted RFID sensor, the system automatically triggers traction and lift settings when the sensor reads a tag. Because the vehicle can only operate at pre-defined speeds, heights and other operational parameters, the operator can pay more attention to operational tasks, while trucks and facility infrastructure are better protected due to reduced impacts.
