It deploys water-activated tape that penetrates the cardboard substrate and bonds to paper fibers for a secure, tamper evident and recyclable seal. The machine uses a servo-driven sensing head to measure box heights, automatically indexes random size cases from a powered infeed conveyor, folds all top flaps and applies tape to the top and bottom of the case.
