Crown Equipment Company Profile

Work assist vehicle replaces ladders for accessing high places

The Wave Work Assist Vehicle (WAV 60) series is designed for applications where ladders are typically used to access high places in retail and manufacturing settings. Ideal for workers receiving, shipping and stocking/shelving small loads and/or products in busy, confined spaces, as well as order picking and order fulfillment, it can travel and lift simultaneously. This allows operators to move efficiently around a facility while raising and lowering to the appropriate heights in one smooth, seamless operation. The vehicle features AC drive motors and controls that reach travel speeds of 5 miles per hour and provide responsive acceleration and maneuverability. To intelligently coordinate operator prompts, an on-board operating system enables lift/lower operations, steering and braking, performance levels and other vehicle systems.
