Hyster Company Profile

Walkie pallet truck features rugged drive unit frame, productivity enhancing features

Constructed with a heavy-duty steel frame, coupled with a highly engineered drive unit casting, the W45ZHD walkie pallet truck’s ultra-rugged drive unit stands up to harsh applications. The vehicle may be specified with one of three fork lengths: 36, 42 or 48 inches. It transports loads up to 4,500 pounds at a maximum travel speed of 3.7 miles per hour. To improve productivity, the truck may be specified with patented Intelligent Lift, allowing operators to simultaneously transport and lift pallets and decreasing cycle times by up to 25%. Trucks equipped with this technology can automatically lift the pallet to the maximum fork height without continually continuously holding the lift button. For operator safety and load stability, the vehicle’s sensor-driven Intelligent Slow Down function recognizes when the truck is cornering and automatically reduces speed for more confident maneuvering.
