For maintenance and service of its machines and systems, the supplier offers the VisualAssistance system, an interactive app for tablets, smart phones or smart glasses.

Customers use it to connect to service staff using video and audio streams, with both sharing the same field of view in real time. This simplifies mutual understanding and helps to quickly identify individual system components and possible faults.

The app also allows technical experts to provide visual assistance by superimposing markings on the live video. Using augmented reality, the recipient sees all necessary information directly on the display while performing the maintenance or repair work. In addition to minimizing downtime, the app also eliminates the costs associated with training time and site visits.
