JBT Corporation: Standard Counterbalanced Automatic Guided Vehicle

A new line of standard counterbalanced automatic guided vehicles transports load capacities from 1,650 to 5,500 pounds in routine pallet-handling applications.

Offered as a fully automated replacement for manual forklifts, the vehicles join the supplier’s line of tugger-style AGVs. Both vehicle types can be supported by the JayBoT application, which automates simple, A-to-B material movements by using the AGVs.

By reducing system complexity, the application increases vehicle intelligence while eliminating costs, and can be upgraded to operate with a system manager to support more complex challenges.
