Lenze Americas: Smart Gear g350 mechatronic drive unit

Combining a gearbox, motor, electronics and software, the new Smart Gear g350 mechatronic drive unit from Lenze Americas is ideal for horizontal material flow tasks. It comes in six versions—with torques of 25, 50 and 75 nanometers—delivering speeds from 42 to 216 revolutions per minute at the same torque.

Energy efficient, the unit blends the motor and gearbox elements, so the gear ratio slips far into the motor housing. Integrated electronics and software enable fixed motor speed to be easily adapted using an app on a smart phone.

Other features include integrated ramp functions and brake control options to ensure conveyed goods are transported smoothly without jerking motions.
