Delivering 180 degrees of film to roller contacts, the S-Carriage pre-stretch system enhances pallet-load stability, particularly for diminished damage during transit, while also decreasing stretch-film consumption, resulting in a low total cost of ownership.

Due to its 180-degree delivery of film, the S-Carriage also reduces slippage and neckdown, leading to an improvement in film coverage and yield. In addition, the pre-stretch system’s S pattern of film travel over carriage rollers is ideal for any type of cling film, including one-sided films, as the system’s sticky side remains against loads, improving holding power.

The system’s design enables operations to use evolving film technologies, which are capable of more than 600% pre-stretch, whereas some of its other features (such as Insta-Cut and Insta-Thread) decrease film handling and employee injuries.
