MacroAir: New LED light kit for AirVolution-D

A new LED light kit eliminates the effects of strobing caused by nearby ceiling lights shining through an overhead fan’s blades. The kit is an option for the supplier’s AirVolution-D line of high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fans (models 550, 780 and AVD3). In addition to creating more illumination in the area the fan is placed, the light consumes only 10% of the electricity a typical incandescent light emits. Other features of the kit include the ability to tie it into the existing light grid for easy operation and optimal coverage, an 80-degree lens angle, and rugged die cast aluminum heat sink for reliable operation.
