Mobile Sort is an all-in-one picking and sorting solution that enables warehouse associates to intelligently pick and sort batches into discrete orders.
Associates are directed by Chucks, 6 River System’s mobile collaborative robots, to pick batches into totes. The totes are then delivered to take-off points, where they are sorted into orders.
Mobile Sort stations consists of smart kiosks and mobile put-to-light walls, and work with Chucks, 6 River Systems’ mobile collaborative robot, to reduce cycle times and improve pick efficiency.
The solution is flexible by design, allowing the stations to be wheeled in during customers’ busiest seasons; and wheeled out to reclaim precious floor space. For warehouses that use multiple automation systems, zones or levels, Mobile Sort can be deployed as the “final destination” to merge partially picked totes from Chuck and other pick systems.
