Stack loads on pallets or slip sheets with laser-guided AGVs

Stack loads on pallets or slip sheets with laser-guided AGVs Using laser-guided fork vehicles equipped with an automatic movable laser mast, a line of automatic guided vehicles can accommodate facilities with different ceiling heights. The AGVs can stack 104-inch-tall loads unitized either on pallets or slip sheets—picking up and delivering to a variety of locations within manufacturing and warehouse operations. To minimize system downtime, the vehicles are supported by a series of intelligent, automatic battery charging stations that equalize charging for maximum battery life and for support of 24/7 operations. Controlled by AGV system manager software, the system monitors more than 15,000 load locations, as well as controls inventory and AGV maintenance scheduling.
