High-speed, variable-height label printer applicator

High-speed, variable-height label printer applicator

The Model L-A 6000 label printer applicator puts labels on variable-sized cartons with accurate shipping information at speeds up to 40 labels per minute. Reliable and cost-effective, the machine uses the tamp-blow method to print and apply labels to products that range in height up to 19.68 inches.

A sensor initially determines the height of the approaching product for labeling, then the applicator moves to the correct position at high speed, reducing the traveling distance for the label application.

For access to components for service, maintenance and cleaning of the print module’s thermal print head, the machine features modular construction. Interchangeable dispensing heads support different sized labels. Using print engines from Zebra or SATO, the machine can print labels as thermal-transfer or direct thermal.
