Liftomatic Material Handling: L4F-QC drum handling attachment

The L4F-QC drum handling attachment by Liftomatic is equipped with an automatic locking cam device that eliminates the need for a safety chain to secure the unit to the forklift.

Engaging as soon as the attachment is lifted off the ground, the locking mechanism prevents the device from moving on the forks. When the unit is lowered to the ground, the locking cam automatically retracts, allowing the operator to slide out of the attachment and move on to other tasks.

To quickly and safely handle one to four rimmed steel, plastic or fiber drums simultaneously (at a total load capacity of 8,000 pounds), the device incorporates the supplier’s Parrot-Beak clamping system. It is ideal for loading or unloading operations, pallet change-outs, warehouse stacking and fill-line applications.
