A line of plastic pallets from Intelligent Global Pooling Systems (iGPS) are lighter than wood, making them easier to handle and less expensive to ship.
Completely recyclable at the end of their usable life, the hygienic pallets are immune to insect contamination, as pests cannot penetrate the plastic. They do not absorb pathogens or bacteria, and do not require fumigation or heat treatment.
For traceability and security, the pallets feature embedded radio frequency identification (RFID) tags for immediate identification contaminated shipments and to facilitate product safety recalls. The pallets have been certified as usable in food processing by NSF International.
