Creform Corporation Company Profile

Heavy-duty automated tuggers engineered to start, stop long trains of carts

Heavy-duty automated tuggers engineered to start, stop long trains of carts A heavy-duty AGV tugger has been engineered to withstand the forces of starting and stopping long trains of carts. The vehicles are powered by two fast-charging, 12-volt batteries and pull six to eight carts at a time, each weighing an average of 200 pounds. Each tugger can navigate a 1,000-foot-long route at speeds up to 164 feet per minute. For durability, the vehicles are constructed with a heavy-duty steel base frame measuring 31.5 x 54 inches, and feature hitch receivers mounted on steel plates that are bolted to the base. Removable end caps on the frames cover forklift pockets that allow the AGVs to be raised for maintenance. For safety, the vehicles are equipped with an audible warning device, flashing light, non-contact obstacle sensor safety bumper, dynamic brake and parking brake.
