Due to its fast speeds, the Lean-Lift Vertical Lift Module can operate in tandem with two or more simultaneously meeting requirements for high picking rates, especially in e-commerce order fulfillment and shipping.
For long-term parallel operational success, each VLM should concurrently transport containers to ergonomic access points when picking orders begin.
Once an item is picked from the first VLM, a user can walk directly to the second VLM and retrieve the item from that access point. The first VLM will continue the process, and its extractor will bring the next container into position for picking, reducing or eliminating waiting times.
