EdgeGard dock gates incorporate a roll-a-way, folding rail to protect wider openings than traditional dock gates, yet have minimal overhead clearance requirements. Easy to install and operate, they provide a barrier for equipment and personnel working near open dock doors, truck loading pits or other hazardous areas. The gates withstand the 200-pound OSHA 1910.23 load force protection requirement and are finished in durable, bright yellow polyurethane paint with black safety striping. When closed, each gate sits 42 inches above floor level and spans widths of 10 to 12 feet with only 116 inches of clearance. For easy lifting, they feature a smooth cantilever action for easy operation, convenient grip handles, and a rubber floor wheel.
