For precise handling of bagged products, the Double Tight Wrap system by EDL Packaging Engineers facilitates tightly wrapped bundles by producing consistently sized bales with brick-like density for improved product pallet stacking without using excess film.
Wrapped loads stored on either pallets or slip-sheets can be warehoused four-high and are free from damage due to pallet overhang. Offered with vision guided robotics, the system includes a pick and place feature for precise product placement.
The machine uses constant mechanical tension to create a tight wrap of film around the bundle, while using less film and less energy than traditional shrink bundling methods.
