To enhance storage density, the AUTOSAT shuttle pallet carrier by Automated Material Handling is operated by remote control to reach heights of 492 feet. It is offered in seven models and handles loads up to 3,300 pounds.
The machine methodically and promptly collects, stores and arranges pallet loads in their proper channels. Ideal for use in food, manufacturing, textile and pharmaceutical industries, the system increases storage density by more than 20% over drive-in racking.
Up to four shuttles at a time can be controlled by a single forklift operator. Powered by a lithium ion battery, the system produces no memory effect for smoother process flow and longer operational use. To prevent load overflows and collisions, the preferred distance between pallets can be programmed with the remote to protect loads and racking. A below-zero package option ensures operation in cold storage to -30°F.
