An Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) software, the AI Servo Monitor uses artificial intelligence to project potential failures of drive systems for the manufacturer’s servomotors and spindle motors. The software helps prevent production issues before they occur, leading to a rise in uptime.
Used in conjunction with MT-LINKi, using machine learning, the software analyzes the daily performances of machines that are equipped with the manufacturer’s CNCs. All daily data is then displayed in intuitive graphs, enabling users to monitor any abnormalities on the machines.
From there, AI will automatically develop baseline models of the machines as they operate in normal states. Afterward, “anomaly scores” will depict differences between all baseline models and daily recorded values, which operations will be able to view in intuitive graphs.
Powered by artificial intelligence, AI Servo Monitor can predict possible failures of the drive systems for FANUC servo and spindle motors. The software works in conjunction with FANUC’s machine status monitoring and data collection software, MT-Link i. It uses data obtained from FANUC servo and spindle motors, and since the data is obtained directly from the motor, a separate sensor is not required.
Operate the machine as you normally would and the artificial intelligence automatically generates a model and anomaly thresholds are established. Daily anomaly scores can be graphically seen and trends realized. If an anomaly threshold has been exceeded, a notification email can be sent.
Note: Users must have MT-Link i to use AI Servo Monitor.
