Handling loads up to 35,000 pounds, the 9 Series 160D-9 forklift is equipped with a Cummins QSB6.7 tier four final diesel engine that provides 164 horsepower and 8,701 foot pounds of torque. For lower emissions, the diesel fuel after treatment uses a diesel oxidation catalyst, selective catalytic reduction and exhaust gas recirculation. Standard features include wet disc brakes; 4.3-inch LCD color display; indicators for load weight, incline and steer wheel angle; rear view camera; ergonomic cab with full climate control air conditioner and heater; and durable, high-visibility masts. To make access easier and to simplify maintenance, the vehicle’s heavy-duty steer axles have single point greasing, while an electric tilting cab reveals both powertrain and maintenance areas.
