The 8-Series lift truck line now includes a new 3,000- to 6,500-pound capacity diesel model, powered by a clean-burning engine. Meeting federal EPA Tier 4 Final diesel engine standards, the vehicle's 1.8-liter, three-cylinder engine features an electronic fuel injection system with controller area network (CAN-BUS) to maintain horsepower and increase torque while saving fuel. Its 1ZS electronic common rail fuel injection system works with an intercooled, variable nozzle turbocharger and a diesel oxidation catalyst to minimize emissions and particulate matter.
