Datalogic Company Profile

Processors can power 8 cameras through ethernet.

Processors can power 8 cameras through ethernet.

Able to power up to eight gigabit power over Ethernet cameras simultaneously, the 8-in-1 MX-E processors offer faster processing, along with more RAM, so users can handle a range of industrial applications, including bar code and pattern recognition, flaw detection, hazardous label detection, object location and traceability, and robot and laser guidance.

Due to their rugged, compact chassis, they also offer users robust, long service lives, even in harsh industrial environments like fast-paced manufacturing facilities and process engineering operations.

To enable users to select the proper level of performance they need, according to their individual applications, the MX-E series has three tiers: MX-E25, MX-E45 and ME-E90. The MX-E25 can connect to two 5-megapixel cameras, while the MX-E45 and the MX-E90 can connect to up to four and eight cameras, respectively.

Company Product Description

The MX-E Series of GigE vision processors delivers extraordinary computing power and unmatched application flexibility guaranteeing long-term product availability. The highest-quality hardware components delivered in a rugged chassis ensure robustness and long-life service. Multi-camera capability allows data collection and analysis from multiple points and reduces integration costs.

Three different models are available according to the application requirements, featuring up to eight independent GigE Vision camera ports for high-speed image acquisition: the entry-level, cost effective MX-E25 supporting two cameras, the mid-range MX-E45 and the high-end, quad core MX-E90 both supporting two, four, or eight cameras. The MX-E series delivers extreme configuration flexibility offering multiple hardware configuration options and full compatibility with a wide range of Gig-E cameras, from VGA to very high resolution (area scan) and from 2K up to 8K (linescan).

Universal dongles allow for IMPACT software license and add-on license functionalities on all the MX-E models, allowing users to move and swap licenses from one vision processor to another.
