Mobile kanban station for lean production To create a demand-driven production process, the 606-position kanban station acts as a scheduling system for continuous improvement, lean and just-in-time production by holding a series of cards. Each card contains visual cues that represent routing information, process procedures and component data functions. Constructed of plastic-coated steel pipe and joint components, the station incorporates plastic dividers and spacers that provide compartmental storage for the cards. The white dividers/spacers measure 6.25 x 4 x 0.625 inches and interlock without adhesive in vertical or horizontal orientation. Spacers create wider slot openings, while slot caps provide a labeling surface or can be used to block off positions.
