The Numina Group: Software supports multi-modal picking devices

Numina Group’s Pick Execution software module for multi-modal, pick-to-light, voice-directed and RF-based picking now offers extended capabilities to provide labor management and velocity-based SKU picking analytics.

These new functions boost voice picking productivity by adding the operational tools for continuous process improvement, such as re-slotting higher movers and optimizing the picking walk path. Residing on a server and deployed as a thin client on the terminal, the software is developed in Java for platform, database, and OS independence.

The voice application resides on the server and requires only the voice recognition engine deployed as a thin client on the terminal.
