A multi-level storage and retrieval system, Sky-Storage & Ground-Pick uses X-series four-way shuttle robots to enhance storage density. It implements P800 robots, used for picking operations on ground floors.
Four-way shuttles—on warehouses’ upper levels—can use all vertical space for pallet storage, along with fast, flexible replenishment of lower levels. Below the shuttles, the picking robots can move the pallets, racks and shelves that contain the goods in most demand.
Operations have the option to add or remove any robots from the system, especially as business demands fluctuate. Existing infrastructure like conveyor belts can be integrated into the system.
