Capable of handling different types of items—such as bags, polypacks or packages—the Rota-Sorter is fast, flexible and efficient. The machine deploys a sinusoidal velocity curve within its discharge mechanism to ensure gentle handling, even at high throughput rates, to reduce damage. It sorts items ranging in size from 4.7 x 2.4 x 0.2 inches to 47.2 x 31.5 x 31.5 inches and weighing up to 69 pounds on one line, processing up to 5,000 items per hour. Modular, the discharge system can be mounted anywhere on the outside of the sorter and relocated later, as well as accommodate the addition of multiple discharge systems.
